Ugg Season❤

Its winter which means..ugg season!!Warm and fluffy in the inside. Adorable yet tough on the outside. What's better than a pair of these cozy little things?Originated in Australia,these adorable little things have had a long history of being an all time winter essential. They come in soo many varities - pastels,glitter,sequins,bold colours and even printed ones like animal prints and florals!!You can also get these almost everywhere though they are a bit pricey,but Ani and Sawmz thinks they are just soo totally worth it!!Anyway,here's some of our favs from ugg australia's collection!!x

•The Classics

The classic brown uggs are the perfect introduction to the ugg family❤ These guys began their journey years ago and are still the most purchased item in ugg history!!Ani and i both own a pair of the classic short uggs and they are soo comfty they are just to die for!!Its really cold in my country house especially during winters so i even wear these around the house since they are soo comfty that when i remove them its like im incomplete!!So i totally recommend these to you guys and since its the perfect intro to the ugg family its totally buy worthy and i totally assure you that you wont regret you're purchase later on!!

•The "I do" uggs
They are really called the "I do" uggs but i totally think they're definately drool worthy for every girly girl!!Pretty silver sequins on you're feet and that too in these super adorable uggs are definately a dream come true for all the ugg lovers out there!!These come in the baby uggs collection as well and they are just too adorable❤

•The Bailey Button Uggs.

 Another version of the classics the bailey button uggs have been a fav amongst ugg collectors out there. The quirky little button ads a really big dramatic effect to these guys that it's like a totally new fereshing look!!Plus who would'nt want to dig her feet into that fluffy looking fur that's pretty much oozing out of the poor thing!!?aww❤

•The Bailey Bow

                    

I chose my bailey bows in princess pink but see how many colours are in stock for you guys!!The online store is packed i mean like totally packed with soo many types of uggs!!And that's the thing about uggs!!its like you can chose the ones that suit your personality the most!!So anyway ,aren't these bailey bows too cute?the bow detail at the back is so way feminie and more prettier than the normal strings at the back kinda thing with most boots x  too cute❤

•The Dakota Mocassins

Not really boots but with the exact same cute furry interiors and pure skinsheep outside!!These mocassins are soo comfty  especially for a chilly afternoon but again perf for a day out in the winter sun. They again come in soo many colours and designs so i totally suggest you guys to check out all those that are available before you buy your uggs x

#DIY: Everyday make-up organizer❤

Hey guys!!So we have a new diy finally!!yaay.This diy is soo soo simple but can be really helpful in organizing your dressing table or your cupboard etc. I personally keep this tray in my dresser and it makes it soo earier to find the products that i use daily!!You probably wont fit in all you're makeup in this tray so its better to make it like a daily use makeup tray or something and keep the things you use daily. So lets get started :)

•What you need:

Plastic or paper bins or unused boxes

A tray

Glue

Scrap book paper or spray paint

•Step 1:

Place the bins/boxes in the tray and arrange them the way you want to.

•Step 2:

Its looked really good when my tray matched the boxes so i spray painted the 

boxes and the tray in metallic gold!!This is totally optional but you can wrap then too  !!be creative and make yours unique!!x

•Step 3:

Again optional. I made this big bin glittery on the outside so that its a little different from the other bins but you can always make yours unique and maybe use sequins,stickers or something!!be creative x

Ps - The glitter would probably start coming out so its better to add a coating of spray adhesive or like mine..transparent nail polish!!Who ever the inventor of transparent nailpolish is just know that i love you!!it acts like a transparent layer and it totally prevents the glitter from falling off. Its soo effective since it dries easily and has that shiny effect. So i would totally suggest this!!x 

•Step 4:

Place them back on the tray and stick them on the tray with your glue to prevent them moving about on the tray.

•Step 5:

And we are doneeeee. I absolutelay lovee this diy and its soo affordable and easy!!I would totally suggest you to have separate bins for separate items..like one for lip products,the other for hand sanitizers and so on. Oh and you make like a makeup brush holder on the side of the tray or something!!Anyway i hope you guys like this diy and we will surely be making more for the hols!!Love you guys soo much!!

Trend Report: The Houndstooth❤

Houndstooth checks are almost a century old but who knew that this trend would be amongst the forever new iconic pieces?Classy and ladylike,this print totally has it all,making it my favourite trend for winter'13❤

     Anisha and I have totally been drooling over the black and white combo for a while now..infact both the outfits i have laid out for christmas and new year's are both monocrome!!Houndstooth comes in soo many items its mesmerizing at times!!Here are a few of our picks for you guys (all forever21 you know how obsessed we are with f21)

• The Essentials

                     

A big sloppy i love you to forever21 for making so many too adorable houndstooth stuff. God bless you. Seriously these are just soo cute!!!I got myself the brush set and its all soo affordable and soo amazing!!F21 has been soo thoughtful to have made these items since no other brand has houndstooth accessories so if you do own one of these,its gonna be unique and will totally stand out amongst all your other stuff❤

• The skinny pants

                                        

Skinny pants are always a good idea with coats and can always be trusted when it comes to casual but dressy occasions!!These skinnies come in many different designs but what are soo strikingly different about these are the two zippers on the left!! Its like an additional detail thing and i totally think it makes it unique amongst many of those houndstooth pants out there!!

•The Sweatshirt

You guys know how much we love our sweats do you?? And the best damn thing is when your too comfty sweats can be worn out too!!omg. This sweaty is just soo comfty and still so wearable!!Personally,i think the best part is the fact that its soft and not the traditional woven material and its like an outbreak from the houndstooth coats available in soo many varieties!!

•The coat

                  

Here's something borrowed from the boys. This oversized coat has it all. With the attention of course. The thing is to wear this coat right,its always better to minimize the look!!soo i would recommend tights or anything thats not too baggy with this coat. Comfty but practical is what this coat is all about!!

•The skirt

                           

Last but not the least is this skater skirt again from f21!!It minimizes the waist so its a great pairing up item - making it soo easy to wear it with big coats over it or with crop tops like the one on the model. Feminine and flirtilicious this skirt is totally off the track for the "Houndstooth is too formal" thing. 

•WEAR YOUR HOUNDSTOOTH RIGHT•

Be creative. Be fun. But be careful?Wearing houndstooth is not so hard. But to wear it right,you have to overthink your outfit for the day a couple of times before you actually wear it!!Houndstooth with houndstooth is basically all about minimizing the prints. For example - A big houndstooth print coat over a tiny print houndstooth dress and so on. 

Similiarly,houndstooth with other prints is not soo hard either. Try mixing and matching your houndstooth item with other prints and just be creative but be careful not to look like a garbage can at the end. Anyway always remember that houndstooth is great with bold colours ;)

Finding The Perfect Coat'13❤

     

Whether you're just simply girly,totally trendy or more into simpler stuff,there will always be a place for coats in your life. We'll im talking about the trech,the casual wrap-arounds and the extravagant furs.

       Being raised up in my country-styled house in Aizawl, our winters usually began in late October and ended in the beginning of March. So,we pretty much had a lot of coat weather which i have always loveeeedd. Since i was like 5 or probably even 4, my mother has always bought me a new pair of boots for my carol service and i used to go totally crazy when i saw my new coats and  for the winter!!Anyway,as we all know,fall is like a prep of the comming winter so its always necessary to remember to buy some cozy knits and woollens before hand. Here are a few of my favourite winter coats ive ever come across as well as a few of my tips for fall/winter '13!!x

• The Burberry Trench

                     

       

        From Kate Middleton to Victoria Beckham and Burberry's very own Emma Watson who has led campaigns for its promotion,the trench has always been a style statement. The classic long coat is available in a shorter version as well. The iconic trench has various versions in different colours but has a pretty high pricetag!!so i would totally recommend cheaper look alikes from more pricetag friendly brands like f21 or h&m!!

•Faux fur 

                        

Many people believe that faux fur coats make you look shaggy. The truth?they dont!!you just need to pair them right!!when wearing a fur coat,you need to keep in mind that you have to minimize your look to keep it more..well neutral. Fur can be your best friend when you want to cuddle up at home for the day too!!These coats can be really comfty and i would totally buy them just because of this!!

•The Parka

                           

The parka is one of my favourite coats till date!!i love the way its baggy and slightly slouchy but can be made soo chic with the perfect accessories!!The fur gives it a real natural look and it kinda gives it that boyish charm which i think is really really cute!!grab yours from nastygal.com. xo

•The Red Riding Hood or Duffle Coat

                             

The red riding hood. I assume you thought it had to be red?lol..but no!!this coat also from nastygal.com is soo adorable!!the red riding hood coat has been one my to die fors since i was like six!!i still love love love this coat and pairing it up with my body hugging dresses and tights,this coat really always completes the outfit. It really has that old brit charm!dont you think?

•The Double Breasted

         

The double breasted buttons really make this coat unique. One of the originals,this coat has been worn from time to time but never gets old. Be it a puffy double bb or a slouched version,this coat will make your looks more official or add that sense of properness to your look. Plus,its great when paired with some amazing leather boots!!Get this coat from zara.com x

•The Boyfriend

This coat from missguided.co.uk was my favourite amongst the boyfriend coats i could find out there!!the boyfriend trend has been going around for sometime now though this coat has nothing to do with the denim version of the "boyfriend". Clothing with the word "boyfriend" just have one main thing in common and thats the gorgeous slouch!!These are usually worn a bit loosely mostly with jeans or tights,to make the look not a P Diddy puffed up type of thing,but a really pretty and chic look with minimized accessories!! x

Its october and, the perf autumn moment. With the feeling of nostalgia and the slight chill in the air. All i think of is Fur and Boots with a slight touch of Maroon and Brown.

If we speak about boots this autumn there is no way in hell i'm gonna let the faux fur be.
To me faux fur just gives this additional touch to the art of wearing leather boots.
I wanted to make this post so badly. From the beginning of autumn my imagination is acting super duper crazyy. Everytime i think autumn i see this lady mysteriously walking across a dark road wearing this sexy faux fur coat and an awesome pair of phillip lim black over-the-knee leather boots...

LATE POST : ANISHA'S BIRTHDAAAY (14th august)

Hey guys!!im soo sorry for the late post!!we had a maths test and stuff so we couldnt really post anything!!ill make it upto you guys!!we prooomisseee. OK. SO. As we all know the 14th of August was my bff/fellow blog owner Anisha's 15th birthday. This year,instead of throwing a grand part or whatever, the four of us which we proudly call k4 (Ani,me,shreep and vans) booked a room in ITC SONAR BANGLA which is pretty much one of the best hotels in Kolkata. So it was like a day off from school and all the tests and stuff and especially our exams which was pretty much around the corner. soooo, heres what i gave her!!:D

As you guys all know our ani's a great big korean drama and pop fan.
i)So the first thing i got for her were these cute (i hope they're cute..) korean(ew) cd's. I got 3 of them!!!lol.
ii) Up next were these sandals with two bright really attractive acid washed pink stones which really reminded me of her the first time i saw them. And the best part was that they came in her size which i am proud to find. Amen.
iii)I MADE THE PAPER BAG MYSELLFF. OHH YEAAH. It was'nt that hard though :p
So thats pretty much what i gave her!!oh i also made a card for her..which was kinda plain though:/
